Awendaw

Awendaw is a small fishing community located in Charleston County.  The total area consists of 8.4 square miles,  and is small town living at it's best.   Mount Pleasant is located south of Awendaw.  The most notable event that occurs every summer is the Blue Crab Festival.  To many residents crabbing is a hobby and one of the Awendaw's  main economic resources.
